summer shoes...

i am cranky today. like, totally.

a certain four-year old woke up at five this morning, freed coco, and set off a barrage of barking and lots of waggy tail thumping and one ican'tseeathing leap down from our bed and also a wowthathurt ankle bruising and a few swearish words and one very tearful i just needed a fwiend in the bathwoom!

i rarely require sleep. but today i am missing about one hundred and twenty minutes of it.

nothing a new pair of summer shoes can't cure.

see you tomorrow? ok, then. xoxo.

New shoes destroy all lack-of-sleep blues.

I have lived in Texas and Florida for the last 25 years, so I love the thought of these boots as "summer" - it will be sweltering before we know it!

ooh....so sorry. I had a night like that the other day, littlest one up at 5pm, no sleep due to allergies, puppy needing to go out at 2:30am....BUT, new shoes definitely would erase it all! :) hee hee. Hope your day gets better sweet thing!

I'd like to offer you some hope that these sort of things will eventually end, but...my 27-year-old son called me at 2 this morning because he was upset and felt like talking:( Once a mom...always a mom.

Don't be gloomy - shoes will definitely help! Sleep deprivation is just the worst thing...I am fiercely protective of sleep now after so many 4am/5am incidents when frankly its the 'no-man's land' of the night/day. Yuk. Atleast you get another shot at it tonight (whenever that comes in your time zone!). LB x

I wonder if that will cure my May-itis. I've got it bad. Can you believe only 12 1/2 days of school left?
