in love with love...

hi.

i have something important to tell you. are you listening?

it's true. it just is. you're all very nice to me, and if you think i don't appreciate every bit of your kindness? you're crazy.

ugh. i wanted to get through this post without calling you names. unless it was something like buttercup or sweetpea or sugar-britches or dear dear friend.

one more thing. i've a wish list over on design crush. if you'd like, you may read it here. and if you get lost, no worries. you'll find something way more brilliant anywhere else on kelly's site. it's, like, a law or something.

one more thing.

coulson macleod is on my wish list. if someone loved me...really loved me...that someone would buy me a coulson macleod. as seen recently on stash studios. design crush post here. also. don't be alarmed by all this love business. imaginary friends can love each other. and someday? we just might be able to get married! or something equally...uhhh...equal. xoxo.

Can I let you in on a little secret? When I first clicked on Coulson Macleod's website I did one of those jaw drops...you know the ones where you didn't even know something inside you was missing but here you are, finding it through someone else's words and work and you lose your breath for just a second. It is then you realize that it's way more than just a momentary crush, it's love.
This is how I feel about Coulson. I go to see his pretty things *almost* every morning because its stunning and pray for the day (almost everyone I know has been emailed on this topic) that I will have to stop clicking in cyberspace to see these words, but will one day wake up to them every morning. Wouldn't that be inspiring?

I'll stop my pre-coffee morning rant but I thought I should share the feeling with someone who might get it.

I love you too. I don't know why people are scared of using that word. I think it's fantastic -- it's what life is all about. And we can certainly love our imaginary friends as much as we love our real ones or our family.
And I completely agree with all the lovely words you left on my blog. It's wonderful when you come across someone's work and you feel like you've found a kindred spirit. And that's what I think has happened.

Can I just tell you how happy I am to have you back in blogland? I mean, I really REALLY really didn't enjoy your sabbatical. For a long time I kept popping over and thinking, well maybe she'll surprise us with a new post! My blog time is so much more fulfilling now that you've returned. And, p.s., I do love Esme's list below...can she start a blog, too?!
